It is lawful for a man to befriend a woman, as Jesus befriended Mary Magdalene; to be alone together, as Jesus with Mary at his tomb; and to touch, as Mary touched Jesus after his resurrection, and he rebuked her, not because it was impure, but because he had not yet ascended to his Father.
